I’m a trilingual journalist who works at the intersection of engagement, collaboration and data and focuses on maximizing reporting impact and reach.

I'm also a teacher: I've taught engagement journalism at the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism and The New School, as well as the journalism conference circuit. I'm fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Collaborations

I ran ProPublica's Documenting Hate and Electionland, and I worked at The COVID Tracking Project. 

Reporting

I've done features and investigative reporting. I also have tracked and written about impact from reporting.

Product

I've worked with newsrooms on product strategy, and with developers to create a collaborations database tool, bots, and databases.

Newsletters

I've worked on newsletters at every one of my journalism jobs, including writing, editing, managing and tracking analytics.

Consulting

Available for project evaluations and assisting with audience and engagement strategies.
